“A Place for Wellness”
Alternative Healing?

While growing up many of us were taught that the only way to control medical issues was with drugs. We are lead to rely upon pharmacology to control many health issues. Although medicines can be helpful, the side effects of medication can be harmful. Holistic therapies provide another option.

Now that holistic alternative therapy has become more recognized and has gained acceptance, more people now know and seek therapies such as acupuncture and chiropractic treatments. In the past ten years, the universal healing, Reiki, too, has become recognized healing modality. Many hospital nurses are administrating Reiki on patients to help them heal quicker.

However, there are still many people that have not been exposed to, or educated about, the many other alternative therapies that are currently practiced. There are many positive advantages of being treated with alternative therapies; they are non-invasive and gently remind the body how to heal itself without medications.

Holistic practitioners take time to listen to clients’ needs and personalize each healing to maximize health benefits. Holistic alternative therapy can work in conjunction with conventional therapy. If alternative therapy are introduced in the same way as conventional therapy, people will be able to make an educated choice regarding treatment for their illnesses.

As more people become proactive and educated about their health, they may come to realize their alternative options. People can become empowered to make choices on how they want to be healed.

When conventional and alternatives therapies can be combined for “whole healing,” healing can be done from the soul, mind, body and spirit.

Our mission at the  Healing Place that we are committed to work with clients to realize his or her health goals. We will listen and work together as a team to help each person get on the road to good physical health
