The oils send messages to the limbic system, which is the part of your brain that controls emotions and influences the nervous system and hormones. Therefore, an aromatherapy massage helps to relax muscles, improves the immune response, allows the body to release toxins and is wonderful for health issues such as stress, insomnia, headache, premenstrual syndrome, digestive disorders and chronic pain.
